30 day shred.... Jan 31st to Feb 28th.
day 1...
i took a break after 15 minutes was up, drank some water. jillian says not to take a break for more than 5 seconds... but i think mine was 2 minutes. i thought about stopping, and just starting out at 15 minutes. but told myself i HAD to finish this. or id be pissed at myself.
so i finished it, and felt AMAZING after words.
day 2--
ummm, kill me please? im sore. so so sore!
i powered through the work out today though, and my body will thank me later. even though it hates me right now.
day 3** OH MY GOD!!! i can barely get up or sit down. my thighs shake when i stand or sit.
my arms, back, neck... everything. its so sore. someone kill me. im not doing this tomorrow. i cant even MOVE!
day 4.
on a break. still dying.
day 5. did 80% of the workout. anything that involves lunges can kiss my ass. i skipped out on those, and replaced them with jumping jacks instead. hey! its cardio!
day 6....
my thighs are STILL in pain. and my neck feels like it has a pinched nerve. maybe im doing it wrong? i dunno... but other than that, i feel GREAT!
day 7.
WOO! i made it through the week!! only skipping one day! weigh in today said i lost 8 lbs this week!!!!!
i guess, good diet, and exercise really does make a difference.
my stamina with the work out isnt where id like it to be. its only 30 minutes, and i still sweat like a hog while doing it.
day 8-
my legs feel back to normal. but my neck still hurts. especially when i do any jumping or bending. =[
walked on the tredmill today for 45 minutes and eliptical for 15 instead. sorry jillian.
day 9- ---
i wasnt able to do jillian today. was suuuuper busy. so i incorportated a workout throughout my day. when i got groceries, i parked as far away as i could, and carried nolan, instead of making him walk.
and when i brought the groceries home, i jogged up the stairs, instead of trudging. it hurt my neck like HELL. but ill be thankful later.
day 10!
holy christ. its been 10 days... the work out was average today. my neck still hurts, but i powered through it. although, im starting to get migranes from my neck. i think i should go to the doctor. =/
day eleven,
woke up this morning, not in the mood to work out. i stayed up waaay too late. but i know thats no excuse... its only a half hour work out routine. i shouldnt get so discouraged. so i did it anyway... and was really glad i did. i was awake, and energized for my day. going to the doctor tomorrow for my neck. it has now gotten worse.
day 12-... well... doctor said i have a herniated disc. HA! from what? not properly stretching before and after a work out. and probably lifting something wrong, or sleeping the wrong way for too long. its probably all of the above. i slept SO heavy after the first 3 days. i probably have taco neck. he asked me to take it easy today and tomorrow. means no working out...
day 13... i felt too lazy to not do something! so i did the tredmill today. its just walking... cant hurt my neck any worse than it already is! right?
day 14!! weighed in today... total amount lost... 15 lbs!! BOOOOMMMM!!!!!!
i didnt work out today. instead i ran errands like a maniac... that constitutes as a work out right? i didnt sit once. i swear. it was redic.
day 15- shouldnt this workout get easier? pffff...
day 16....
my abs feel amazing. theyre solid. my thighs are slimming down. and my ARMS! omg.. my arms arent embarassing anymore!!!
sad fact- my boobs went down in size. =[
day 17- something i realized today... i only have one pair of pants that fit me nicely. the rest have all become too big. hmm maybe i should measure inches. to see how many ive lost.
weird fact- all my underwear are getting too big too. kind of depressing im in that middle stage... where nothing fits, but i dont want to buy new clothes cause i know im gonna lose more.
thinking about incorporating the 6wk 6pk in with the 30day shred.
day 18-
did the 30 day shred twice in a row today. im gonna HURT tomorrow.
19....
surprisingly im not in too much pain. my back is a little sore, and so are my pecs. everything else is pretty good. i think i need to step it up like those chubby kids on i used to be fat. on mtv. hmmm 4 hrs at the gym???
day 20!
started the 6wk 6pk along with 30 day shred. WOW!!! holy shit...
its definately a work out thats worth every penny. and she gives you the tools to use. 6wk 6pk is pretty intense. she incorporates cardio in with ab work outs. youll lose weigh and tone down...
day 21... my abs are feelin it today. so are my outer hip areas... weird.
my shoulder feels like its starting to form a knot though. kind of annoying.
it felt alot better after doing the 30 day shred.
22- i dunno whats goin on. but i somehow gained 3 lbs. i swear to christ, i havent cheated on my diet either. (1400 calories a day)
WTF!! annoying. its kind of a downer. but it also makes me want to workout harder. maybe its muscle im gaining and not fat??? lets HOPE!
the work out made me feel SO energized today. and everything in my body feels wonderful. i havent been able to say that in SO long.
day 23...
well i lost a lb. lets hope that 3 lbs goes away...
day 24-
i dont even feel the burn that badly anymore. im definately getting my stamina up quite a bit...
gonna have to step it up after this month. =]
day 25- wasnt able to work out today....

day 26-
did the 30 day shred, twice today. whipped through it like a champ!!
although, ive noticed, when i do it twice, i get shoulder/back pains...
day 27-
ive definately lost inches doing the 30 day shred.
like, 6 inches. and ive lost 2-3 pant sizes (depending on the brand of pants)
also... my posture is alot better too!! dont know if that has anything to do with it. but.. its better. haha!
day 28 ---- today i did the whole video, then jogged a mile.
seriously dying of over heatedness. i DONT run/jog....but i felt compelled to get more cardio in.
to kick some ass... so i did it.
29- no work outskies for me today. yesterday killed. tomorrow is the last day!
last day~~ day 30!!
total amount lost 21 lbs!!
now onto the 6 wk 6pk... gotta get my abs lookin fierce!!! BOOM!!!!
